Fowl Play Kennels was born from a passion for hunting and a love for the dogs that get it done! To me the ideal hunting dog can tear it up in the field but settle in with the family. I strive to breed elite GSP's that will sit in a duck blind, honor in the field, and lay by your feet in the evening. Versatility is top priority for our breeding program, that's why we train and test in the NAVHDA (North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association) system.

​Fowl Play puppies are bred for their natural ability, temperament, intelligence, and cooperation. A well rounded GSP starts with great genetics. When evaluating dogs to be used in our breeding program, we look for early natural hunting ability, strong prey drive, excellent nose, and great cooperation.

 

Our goal for our puppy owners is to have a hunting companion that is easy to train, is a great member of the family, and is all business when it is time to hunt.

Fowl Play Kennels uses hunt tests as a tool to evaluate dogs and measure our breeding program's success. At the end of the day there is no substitute for the real thing and wild bird hunting still remains the top priority for the dogs we look to develop.
